DreamPolish decomposes the text-to-3D generation process into two phases: progressive geometry polishing and domain-guided texture enhancing. In the first phase, the model progressively constructs the 3D geometry using a combination of neural implicit and explicit representations (NeRF, NeuS, DMTet), incorporating a surface polishing stage with a pretrained normal estimation prior for refinement.
