SENSEi: Input-Sensitive Compilation for Accelerating Graph Neural Networks
Kernekoncepter
SENSEi optimizes GNN computations by dynamically selecting sparse-dense matrix compositions based on input attributes, achieving significant speedups.
Resumé
SENSEi introduces a system for optimizing GNN computations by dynamically selecting sparse-dense matrix compositions based on input attributes. The system consists of an offline compilation stage that generates potential compositions and an online runtime system that selects the best composition. SENSEi achieves speedups of up to 2.012× and 1.85× on GPUs and CPUs for GCN, and up to 6.294× and 16.274× for GAT. Different compositions are identified for GCN and GAT, with varying performance benefits based on graph sparsity and embedding sizes.
