The analysis is based on raw groundwater data from various monitoring stations across Germany. Challenges included standardizing measurements due to varying units and coordinate systems among different states. Data normalization involved calculating average monthly groundwater levels from 1990 to 2021 for each station, excluding those with insufficient data. Accuracy tests were conducted to detect anomalies, visually verified, and erroneous data points removed manually. The Mann-Kendall Trend Test was used to determine long-term trends, categorizing them as no trend, slight trend, or strong trend.
