The article discusses the importance of error detection in large language models (LLMs) and proposes a scheme called Concurrent Linguistic Error Detection (CLED). It focuses on detecting errors based on linguistic features extracted from the text generated by LLMs. The proposed CLED scheme is evaluated on T5 model for news summarization and OPUS-MT model for translation, showing high accuracy in error detection with low overhead penalty.
