Comprehensive Analysis of the Galactic Hard X-Ray and Soft Gamma-Ray Background Based on 20 Years of INTEGRAL/IBIS Observations
The Galactic hard X-ray and soft gamma-ray background emission is significantly detected up to 200 keV, with the low-energy component below ~60 keV consistent with emission from accreting white dwarfs, and the high-energy part above ~80 keV attributed to cosmic-ray induced gamma-ray background.
