The paper proposes an instruction-based knowledge editing technique, termed InstructEdit, to address the multi-task generalization issue in knowledge editing for large language models (LLMs). InstructEdit utilizes instructions to guide the editing process, enabling a unified editor to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
