In dieser Arbeit wird eine neue Klasse von Optimierungsproblemen, sogenannte Perzentil-Programme, eingeführt, die es ermöglichen, Probleme zu formulieren, die auf die Optimierung des Durchsatzes für Nutzer am unteren Perzentil (z.B. Zellrand-Nutzer) abzielen.
Die Kernaussage dieses Artikels ist, dass die Autoren effiziente Algorithmen entwickeln, um die Summe der kleinsten q-Perzentil-Raten (SLqP) in drahtlosen Mehrnutzer-MIMO-Netzwerken durch Strahlformung zu maximieren. Dazu führen sie eine neue Klasse von Optimierungsproblemen ein, die als Summe der größten q-Perzentil-gewichteten mittleren quadratischen Fehler (SGqP-WMSE) Minimierung bezeichnet wird, und zeigen, dass diese Klasse äquivalent zu den SLqP-Ratenmaximierungsproblemen ist.
