It examines the impact of balancing selection on dominant and recessive S-alleles, revealing differences in the accumulation of deleterious mutations. Results suggest that while dominant S-alleles accumulate more fixed deleterious mutations, recessive S-alleles tend to accumulate more segregating mutations.
