Core Concepts
Taking the first step towards a new goal is hindered by fear, comfort zones, past failures, and perfectionism.
Abstract
Taking the first step towards a new goal can be daunting due to various factors. Fear of the unknown can lead to uncertainty about outcomes and fear of failure. Large-scale goals can be overwhelming, especially when there is a lack of clarity on where to start. Humans naturally seek comfort and familiarity, making it difficult to break out of established comfort zones. Past failures may create hesitation and self-doubt, hindering progress. The pursuit of perfectionism can also lead to inaction as individuals fear not meeting high standards or unrealistic expectations.
