Efficiently design quantized constant-envelope waveforms for hardware-efficient massive MIMO DFRC systems.
Abstract
This article discusses the design of waveforms for massive MIMO DFRC systems, focusing on quantized constant-envelope constraints to enhance hardware efficiency. The paper formulates the waveform design problem, proposes an inexact augmented Lagrangian method for solving it, and demonstrates the superiority of the approach through simulation results. The impact of system parameters on communication and radar performance trade-offs is extensively examined.
