Anpassung von LoRaWAN an die Open-RAN-Architektur
Dieser Artikel schlägt vor, die derzeitige LoRaWAN-Architektur in eine modulare Architektur umzuwandeln, die dem O-RAN-Modell folgt. Das Ziel ist es, Netzwerkarchitekturen zu standardisieren, damit sie zu einem Netzwerkkontroll-, Orchestrierungs- und Managementmodell wechseln können, das die Wiederverwendung von Funktionen ermöglicht. Diese Standardisierung wird die Entwicklung und Erweiterung von Netzwerkfunktionen auf der Basis von Mikroanwendungen ermöglichen, die sogar für verschiedene Funkzugangstechnologien wiederverwendet werden können.
