Die Genauigkeit von Maschine-Lernens-Potentialen (MLPs) bei der Vorhersage der freien Energie von Molekülen hängt stark von der Verteilung der Kollektivvariablen in den Trainingsdaten ab. Während MLPs die Potenzialenergie und Kräfte gut vorhersagen können, zeigen sich bei der Berechnung der freien Energie teilweise erhebliche Ungenauigkeiten, insbesondere wenn nicht alle charakteristischen Regionen der freien Energiefläche im Trainingsdatensatz enthalten sind.
