Durch die Verwendung lokaler Komplexe können die Herausforderungen, die durch die Identifikatoren in Netzwerken entstehen, überwunden werden. Dies ermöglicht eine topologische Charakterisierung der Lösbarkeit lokaler Berechnungsaufgaben.
