Evaluierung der Kulturempfindlichkeit von LLM-basierten Maschinentranslationssystemen
Die Studie untersucht die Kulturempfindlichkeit von LLM-basierten Maschinentranslationssystemen im Vergleich zu traditionellen neuronalen Maschinentranslationssystemen. Sie führt eine neue Datenerstellungspipeline ein, um einen kulturell relevanten mehrsprachigen Parallelkorpus zu erstellen, und entwickelt neue Metriken, um die Verständlichkeit von Übersetzungen kulturspezifischer Konzepte zu bewerten. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Einbeziehung von Erklärungen kulturspezifischer Konzepte in die Eingabeaufforderung die Verständlichkeit der Übersetzungen, insbesondere für Konzepte ohne bekannte Übersetzungen, deutlich verbessert.
