Ein neuer Mechanismus wird vorgestellt, um die Kommunikations- und Rechenaufwände für die zuverlässige Übertragung von Nachrichten in byzantinischen Netzwerken zu reduzieren.
Wir präsentieren einen zweirundigen Protokoll, das die Summe P i f(xi) für eine breite Klasse von Funktionen f bis auf einen 1 ± ε Faktor approximieren kann, wobei die Kommunikation nur von einem neuen Parameter cf[s] abhängt, der die Komplexität der Approximation besser erfasst als der bisher verwendete Parameter cf,s.
Ein fehlerfreier, synchroner Byzantinischer Vereinbarungsalgorithmus, der externe Gültigkeit erfüllt und eine nahezu optimale Bit-Komplexität sowie optimale Runden-Komplexität erreicht.
Unter Verwendung des Multi-Hop-Weighted-MSR-Algorithmus (MW-MSR) werden notwendige und hinreichende Bedingungen für die Erreichung eines asynchronen byzantinischen Konsenses in einem Netzwerk charakterisiert. Diese Bedingungen werden durch den neuartigen Begriff der streng robusten Graphen mit l Hops ausgedrückt.
