Dieser Artikel präsentiert eine heterogene Netzwerkarchitektur, die terrestrische Netze und mehrere Ebenen von Nicht-Terrestrischen-Netzen (NTN) integriert und dabei die Leistung des Netzwerks durch den RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) optimiert. Außerdem wird ein kompaktes 5G-Neutral-Host-Netzwerktestbett entwickelt, das auf Boden- und Luftfahrzeugen betrieben werden kann und eine flexible Netzabdeckung ohne bestehende Infrastruktur bietet.
Durch die Formulierung des Handover-Problems als teilweise beobachtbarer Markov-Entscheidungsprozess (POMDP) kann eine Handover-Strategie abgeleitet werden, die die zukünftigen Belohnungen berücksichtigt und die Anzahl der Handovers kontrolliert, während die Dienstgüte aufrechterhalten wird.
