Visualizing Multi-Frequency Brain Network Data: Balancing Aesthetics and Functionality

The core message of this article is that when designing visualization tools for domain experts, there is a trade-off between aesthetically pleasing but potentially less functional designs and more functional but potentially less aesthetically pleasing designs.
