Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Linnk, Inc. ("Linnk," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit linnk.ai and use our related web services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use similar browser technologies, including local storage, pixels, and consent signals. In this policy, "cookies" refers to these technologies collectively unless we identify a specific storage method.
2. How We Use Them
2.1 Strictly necessary
These technologies support authentication, security, language selection, and your privacy choices. They remain available when you reject non-essential cookies because the Service cannot operate reliably without them.
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Storage or duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session | Linnk | Keeps you signed in and protects authenticated requests. | Session, sign-out, or authentication expiry. |
i18next | Linnk | Remembers the language selected for the Service. | Up to 12 months. |
consent-kit local storage | Linnk | Stores your analytics and advertising choices, a timestamp, and the applicable policy version. | Until browser data is cleared. An older policy version is ignored and a fresh choice is requested. |
Google One Tap (g_state) | Shows the optional one-tap Google sign-in prompt to signed-out visitors; g_state records that you dismissed the prompt so it is not shown again for a period. | Approximately 6 months, or until browser data is cleared. | |
| Turnstile and security storage | Cloudflare | Detects automated abuse and protects forms and accounts. | Session or provider-controlled duration when a security challenge requires browser storage. |
2.2 Analytics
PostHog is enabled only when analytics consent is granted, and events blocked before consent are not replayed later. Our self-hosted Plausible measurement is cookieless and operates independently of analytics consent using the data limits described below.
| Technology | Purpose | Storage or duration |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics, error diagnostics, performance measurement, user identification, and session replay. Form inputs are masked in session replay. | Browser local storage after analytics consent. Capture and replay stop when consent is withdrawn; an opt-out value may remain to preserve that choice. |
| Self-hosted Plausible | Aggregate pageview, download, outbound-link, and product usage measurement. Linnk keeps supported marketing parameters, replaces gclid and msclkid values with a presence signal, and removes account identifiers, document content, arbitrary URL parameters, URL fragments, and similar sensitive event properties before sending events. | No cookies or persistent browser identifiers. Sanitized requests are sent from page load independently of analytics consent. |
2.3 Advertising measurement
We enable advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization only when advertising consent is granted.
| Technology | Purpose | Storage or duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | Two Google Ads conversion configurations measure campaign performance and support permitted ad personalization. Linnk uses Google Consent Mode to communicate your choice. | Google advertising storage is allowed only after advertising consent and follows Google-controlled retention periods. When consent is denied, Google tags may still send limited, cookieless consent and measurement signals, but advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain denied. |
| OpenAI Ads Pixel | Measures actions after an eligible ChatGPT ad click. The Pixel can store the OpenAI click reference, oppref, in a first-party cookie for conversion attribution. | The Pixel loads and reads attribution data only after advertising consent. Its first-party cookie follows the Pixel's configured attribution period. |
| Rewardful | Attributes sign-ups and purchases to the affiliate who referred you, so we can pay their commission. Triggered by a ?via= parameter on an affiliate link. | The tracking script loads and stores its first-party referral cookie only after advertising consent, and is retained for the campaign's attribution window (60 days). |
3. Third-Party Information
These providers process data under their own terms. Their current documentation provides more detail:
- Google Consent Mode reference
- PostHog browser storage configuration
- Plausible data policy
- Cloudflare Turnstile documentation
- OpenAI conversion measurement information
- Rewardful privacy policy
4. Managing Your Choices
Where consent is required, you can choose Accept all or Reject non-essential cookies. Rejecting optional technologies does not disable the strictly necessary technologies described above.
You can reopen the consent controls using the Cookie settings control in the website footer where it is displayed. You can also delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. If you withdraw consent, the change applies to future collection. Existing provider cookies may remain until they expire or you delete them, and information already sent before withdrawal is not recalled.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change requires a new consent decision, Linnk will ask you again.
