Modeling and Analysis of Integrated Sensing and Communications in the Near-Field Region

The core message of this article is to propose a near-field ISAC framework and analyze its performance in both downlink and uplink scenarios based on an accurate channel model that considers the effects of effective antenna aperture and polarization mismatch.
