PDF to CSV Converter - Turn Scanned Tables into a Spreadsheet
What is a PDF to CSV converter?
A PDF to CSV converter takes tables out of a PDF and saves each one as comma-separated values that any spreadsheet or program can open. Digital PDFs already carry their text; a scanned PDF or a photo is only an image, so a converter first has to read the page with OCR (optical character recognition) and then decide where the rows and columns are. Linnk's PDF to CSV converter does both: it recognises the page layout, keeps merged cells and multi-line cells in the right place, checks digits against the scan, and writes one CSV per table because a page can hold several. When a document has no table at all, the converter says so rather than inventing one, and you still get the searchable PDF, Markdown and plain text.

How to convert a PDF to CSV
Three steps from a scan to a file that opens in your spreadsheet.
Upload the PDF
Drop a scanned PDF or a photo of the page. The converter reads the page image with OCR, so a fax, a phone photo or an old print works as well as a digital export.
Preview the tables
Each table the converter found is shown as a real grid you can read and copy. The first pages are free to preview; sign up to download the files.
Download the CSV
Get one CSV per table (zipped when there are several), plus the same data as an XLSX workbook with one sheet per table, a searchable PDF, Markdown and plain text.
What this PDF to CSV converter does differently
Built for scanned and photographed pages, where most converters give up.
Works on scans and photos
OCR reads the page image first, so the PDF to CSV converter handles scanned statements, faxed forms and phone photos, not only PDFs that already contain text.
One CSV per table
A page can hold several tables. Each one becomes its own CSV file with its own header row, so nothing is merged into one confusing sheet.
Digits checked against the scan
Numbers are the point of a table. The recogniser re-reads digits against the page so totals, dates and reference numbers match the original.
Language kept
The text stays in the document's language. A Spanish invoice comes out as a Spanish CSV; nothing is translated unless you ask.
Four more formats from one run
The same conversion also produces an XLSX workbook, a searchable PDF, Markdown and plain text, each downloadable from its own tab.
Honest when there is no table
If the converter finds no table, it tells you instead of inventing rows. You still get the searchable PDF and the text outputs.
